Healthcare Request provides a wide range of accommodation services for NDIS participants.
We understand how confusing accessing suitable accommodation and supports can be. Whether you are moving out of your existing NDIS supported home; if you need short or medium term accommodation, or haven’t lived in NDIS assisted living before we’re here to help.
Healthcare Request provides accommodation services to suit your needs including:
- SIL – Supported Independent Living
- SDA – Specialist Disability Accommodation
- MTA – Medium Term Accommodation
- STA – Short Term Accommodation
- Respite
- Transitional Accommodation
What is “SIL”?
Supported Independent Living or “SIL” is an NDIS support enabling you to live with other people with a disability or on your own.
What is “SDA”?
Specialist Disability Accommodation or “SDA” is assessed and funded separately to SIL.
Healthcare Request can provide you with a comfortable and secure home and provide support for day-to-day tasks. This can include support for
- Laundry and cleaning
- Cooking and developing a nutritious diet
- Personal care
- Getting to appointments
- Starting a hobby
- Learning to use public transport
- Taking medication
You may be in shared accommodation with other participants or a home on your own
The type of accommodation that Healthcare Request provides is determined by the needs and NDIS support package of each individual. If you are entering into shared accommodation, we know how important it is that you get along with your housemates. Our team will work really hard to make sure we learn as much as we can about you and the things you like to match you with housemates that you click with.
